Simple, friendly networking for Suffolk businesses.
Based in central Bury St Edmunds, we offer straightforward, welcoming networking for local businesses across Suffolk.

Founded by our members, for our members, this group is ideal if you’re looking for:

  • A smaller group – we cap membership at just 20 businesses

  • A relaxed, friendly atmosphere –the right balance of structure and informality

  • Regular but managable meetings – we meet every other Thursday at 7:25am, often enough to build strong connections without becoming a burden

  • Exclusivity – only one business from each industry category is permitted, so no direct competition in the room

Grade 1 Networking is a not‑for‑profit organisation. Your monthly fee simply covers breakfast and the running costs of the group, which keeps our costs significantly lower than most other networking organisations..

FAQ: How often do you meet?
We meet fortnightly on Thursdays over breakfast in Bury St Edmunds, 07:25am-9:00am.

FAQ: When is your next meeting?
Please contact our Membership Secretary at members@grade1networking.org for date of our next meeting.

FAQ: Where do you meet?
We meet at Procopios Pantry in Bury St Edmunds. There is street parking and several nearby car parks.

FAQ: What is the meeting structure?
Our meetings currently start with open networking and chat over tea & coffee, then we sit down to breakfast, after which each attendee gets a minute to talk about their business and what kind of referrals they are looking for.  

We have a quick cup-recharge, and then someone gives a 10-minute talk, after which we have any parish notices, and any members can pass on their thanks for referrals, testimonials etc.  Then we close by 9am.

FAQ: How many attend?
At the moment, we have 10-15 at each meeting.

FAQ: What do I do if I want to book?
Please contact our Membership Secretary at members@grade1networking.org  and let her know  which meeting you want to book for.  Visitors pay ÂŁ18 for a meeting and she will be able to send you a payment link.
